Working with Cindi
Cindi has been a real estate broker for over 18 years. During that time, her professional focus has been on entrepreneurial start-ups and community growth.
In 1989 Cindi founded and grew Executive Relocation Services, a real estate firm specializing in fully furnished corporate housing for executives relocating to the Nashville area. Cindi led a fun loving, results driven team until she sold the company in 1997. During that time ERS was recognized as a “Music City Future 50 Company” for two years in a row. Following a dream, Cindi then purchased 122 acres just off the Natchez Trace Parkway and created Leatherwood Forge Retreat Center to offer groups and individuals a special off-the-beaten path get away for meetings and events-from family reunions to corporate retreats.
Following a dream, Cindi then purchased 122 acres just off the Natchez Trace Parkway and created Leatherwood Forge Retreat Center, offering groups and individuals an off-the-beaten path get-away for meetings and events-from family reunions to corporate retreats. Many great friends and memories were made during those years of once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
After selling LFRC in 2006, Cindi joined Management Solutions Group, providing leadership development and consulting until she was chosen as the President and CEO of the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce in 2009. During her tenure at the chamber, along with community leaders, she helped to bring together three separate county chambers into Williamson, Inc, the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development, one of her proudest accomplishments. Cindi served in the new organization as Chief Operating Officer and later worked in a similar role for the Nashville Technology Council.
Cindi has focused on real estate once again, preferring the title of “Professional Dot Connector”. Cindi’s brings to her clients a comprehensive understanding of the community, connections to people and places, along with the skill and expertise in real estate transactions. In addition, Cindi is a life coach, helping individuals who may be “stuck” personally or professionally, find their joy again. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and spending time with her family, friends and especially her five grandchildren.
Cindi serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for Mercy Community Healthcare Center. She formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Farms YMCA, Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers Association. She is a graduate and facilitator of Leadership Brentwood and Alumni of Williamson County Schools Ambassador Program.
Working with Kate
Kate Cortner not only represents home buyers and sellers in her hometown of Nolensville, she also is immersed in Nashville culture. Kate is a rarity, raised in Nashville since the age of three years old. With a degree in Interior Design from Texas Christian University in Interior Design, Kate’s unique combination of education, talent, and experience gives her clients an edge when buying or selling a home. Kate has a knack for helping her selling clients preparing their home for the market that gets results. Her keen eye and talent for design often lend themselves to unseen possibilities to her buyers searching for a new home.
Kate works her magic, relying on market knowledge, tapping into her network of connections, and using social media to match buyers and sellers, Kate skillfully negotiates on her clients’ behalf, consistently winning contracts in this current multiple-contract market. One of her highest compliments has been repeated referrals from families, often helping empty nesters downsize and their grown children purchase their first or second home.
By the way, Kate is Cindi’s daughter, having been subjected to, and survived, all of her Mom’s entrepreneurial endeavors. No stranger to hard work and the art of “figuring things out”, she learned the ropes and never lacked for an after school or summer job. Now she inspires her mother and often challenges her to reach higher goals.
When Kate isn’t working a real estate transaction, you might find her on the baseball field cheering on one of her boys, coaching her daughter’s cheerleading team or spending Saturday morning at the local Farmer’s Market. With three kids in elementary school, she and her firefighter husband cherish time to relax and play on their five acres in Nolensville-a favorite hangout for friends and family.
